Nation Voices have produced series of reports, reflecting on experiences during and recommendations for beyond the pandemic in shaping health and care services.

What We Know Now focuses on the experiences of people with health and care needs during the first wave of  COVD-19, reviewing research from 11 partner organisations. It covers issues such as wellbeing, access to medication, getting food, shielding and access to healthcare, jobs, and finances. Some effects are likely to be long-term; some compromised people’s independence and ability to self-manage their conditions; and some were potentially life-threatening.

What We Need Now explores what matters to people beyond COVID-19 in health and care, and features co-produced recommendations on the treatment of individuals and shaping services for the future. This report has also been summarised in a short video which is available to watch here.

National Voices have also created an illustration that depicts simple expressions of how patients hope to be treated presented as a straightforward, acting as a practical guide for application in health and care settings.
