NICE: Exploring what it takes to deliver guidance to a health and care system dealing with COVID-19
October 19 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is running a series of free virtual events which look at how we have adapted our work and programmes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Monday 19 October – 12.30 – 1.30pm
Led by NICE’s Centre for Guidelines director Paul Chrisp, the discussion will focus on how NICE guidance was used to ensure the effective and safe treatment of patients at the height of the pandemic. The panel will also discuss the impact this will have on the way future guidance is produced and how NICE intends to work with the system to meet the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19.
